Are we done with SUMMER yet?
Hopefully you are traveling to cooler locations, or spending time in the A/C doing some quilting - or maybe a combination of both!?!
I just taught a class in Tallahassee, FL for the Quilter's Unlimited Guild. Students learned to make a diamond or four so they can complete a total of 24 diamonds to create the Prismatic Star. We all had a fun day, but I completely forgot to get any photos. Here is my Prismatic Star so you get the idea.
My goal is to keep my prices below $12/yard. I have seen yardage for $15 and $16 per yard - that is double what it was when I started Crafty Threads in 2010! That means I will not be profiting as much from the sale of fabrics, but I want to give you, my loyal customers, a break from the skyrocketing prices.
